Enrollment Application for the 2019 - 2020 School Year

***Applications received between October 1, 2018 and February 1, 2019 will be placed in the general lottery pool. Any applications received after February 1, 2019 will be placed in our third lottery pool. The Ranches Academy randomly pulls first from the Preference Pool, second from the General Pool and last from the After February 1st Pool. When a vacancy occurs because a student has withdrawn, The Ranches Academy may immediately enroll a new student from its randomly generated lottery list of applicants.

In accordance with Federal and State law, The Ranches Academy does not discriminate based on race, creed, color, religion, national origin or ability/disability status. Enrollment preference is given in the following order: children of The Ranches Academy founding families; staff and current board member children, and siblings of currently enrolled students and finally, those applicants who applied by the February 1, 2019 deadline.

I understand that The Ranches Academy is a public charter school and is available to students of all ability levels, and will not discriminate in program benefits, participation, employment, or treatment on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, gender identification, or gender. I understand that The Ranches Academy will function under an open admission policy on the same basis as other public schools. If the number of students applying to enroll exceeds the capacity of the school or of programs, classes, or grade levels within the school, then those to be admitted shall be chosen at random (by lottery) from among the applicants. I also understand that Founding Members children, current board member children, staff children, and siblings of enrolled students are in a preferential lottery pool. Remaining applicants will stay on the lottery list to be used whenever an enrollment opening becomes available. I understand The Ranches Academy strongly encourages families to volunteer a minimum of 40 hours each school year. I understand The Ranches Academy will have a school uniform policy and I will ensure my student(s) is (are) in compliance with that policy. I understand that The Ranches Academy will not have a full service cafeteria, but will provide lunch options through a third party. I understand The Ranches Academy will not be providing transportation to and from school and that I am responsible to drop off and pick up my student(s) each day within the specified time frames allowed by the school.
